I try to visit the gym logs regularly, but ... the board is a LOT busier than it used to be, and lately, so am I.

I'm no longer going to visit each gym log daily (yes, I have been, even when I don't comment) - BUT, I'm happy to come when summoned.

If you need me, drop me a line in MY gym log, or a PM if you're feeling bashful. You're not bothering me - you're letting me have a life while I keep up with your progress. I'm just gonna be more passive about it.

Wink

Cheers

Just a reminder about gym logs …(and this isn't counting MINE, since I don't moderate that one - spam away in mine!)

Please keep 'em "spam free" - it makes them SO much easier to moderate. It's really great to have the encouraging and cheerful people we have on this board, but the logs get a lot of traffic, and they're really for the poster to keep track of their workouts and look for constructive feedback. Encouragement is always a good thing, but I think sometimes some of us might feel the need to add a reply whenever we view a gym log, out of courtesy (I've been guilty of this myself). Although this seems polite, it really makes it hard to moderate, and sometimes actually makes it  hard for the thread owner to ask for and find feedback on his or her routine.

If it's constructive feedback, a suggestion, an answer to a question, by all means, post away - that's always helpful. If it isn't, just read the log and move on. And of course, you can always drop the thread-owner a PM.

Thanks, everybody, for helping us keep this such a great little board.

I am SUPER busy, and I have a hard time visiting all the logs to moderate them.

The journals, I virtually NEVER visit, so you can post at will in there. But the gym logs, if there's nothing in particular to post, let's try to leave 'em alone.  That way the mods don't need to pop in every time there's a drive-by hello, as friendly as that is.

Now MY log is the exception - any and all spam is welcome and even encouraged in there since I don't moderate myself (hehehe maybe I should... ) and I have a blog now anyway.

I always feel like a hard-ass when I make these posts, and I'm sorry.

My thinking is that by leaving the gym logs for gym-related information and the journals for the "everything else" part, when people ask questions in their logs or have trouble with their programmes, they'll have better success in actually getting the help they need.

Does this sound okay folks? I really like that we're a friendly bunch in here. And I don't want to make it seem like we're not.

Feedback?  We all cool with this?
